Art, art, and more art
We had a fairly quiet, at-home day today, and Charlie plundered the craft cabinet. This was my favorite of the pieces that emerged:
He described this to me as an abstract design for holiday wrapping paper. He let me hang it up, with the caveat that we'll take it down and copy it on the color copier to use for Christmas. Later, though, he said it was a three-mouthed dinosaur. So who knows.
The other day, he nagged me into providing technical assistance for a Wonder Woman outfit:
We're still looking for the right material to make a magic lasso. Maybe yellow yarn?

Sculpture
For the record, I am not an artistic-type mum. Or even a particularly patient one. So don't mistake these works of art for the products of loving guidance--they are 100% conceived of and realized by Charlie, usually while I'm busy messing around online in the next room.
Happy Guy on Ornate Surfboard
Froggie
Bridge (this entire structure is the size of my thumb)
Buoy
Crab and Seagull (because the buoy was lonely)
Robot
I haven't asked yet, but I'm sure they're something
Racecar (again, the size of my thumb--and if you look closely you can see minute blue start and stop buttons!)
Cakes (on the plane home from our big trip)
